Server Shutdown
As of today, Interstate V will be transferred from the internal on hold status to the official shutdown status. We placed Interstate V on hold late last year so that we could focus on other projects at hand such as internal Shadow Development content and TOGR. We then reviewed said status at the beginning of 2024 and found that it was best to remain on hold, and today we have decided that it is best to publicly shut down the project.
Reasoning
We internally agreed that due to the following reasons, the shutdown at this time was valid:
- Our resources, both physical and time-wise, were not at the standard we’d need to maintain active and proper development of an entire FiveM server.
- Most internal members that had been brought in to help development have since become too busy with their own affairs to have the required time.
- Our budget for purchasing needed resources was not great enough with other projects that have our focus right now, ie: TOGR.
- Most if not all current resources need a complete overhaul.
- Network Leadership has obligations to other FiveM communities as of current, and we do not wish to cut those ties for the sake of Interstate V as its state was not as solid.
- Agent BUB is a part of the board and development team for KSRP.
- Phantomz is the founder and owner of London FivePD.
- We wish to focus on other projects currently. Things like TOGR and Shadow Development have many things currently on the schedule to be done, so adding in more work for our teams makes no sense.
- The ROI currently isn’t good. It would simply take us too many resources to work on Interstate V that could go to other places for the projected slow return on that investment. Our other projects just have a better ROI currently.
Future Plans
We are open to continuing the project in the future if everything falls into place correctly for it to make sense. If for good reason we feel it best to reboot the project then we 100% will do so as long as we have the resources to do it.

Current Projects
We are currently working on a handful of projects over at Shadow Development. Brand new website templates are in the works, alongside a bunch of major changes to soon come to light. It is worth checking it out or at least joining the Discord via discord.gg/shadowdevs.
We also have our Roblox Star Wars group known as The Original Galatic Republic, or TOGR. This wonderful group and game is currently being developed to house a whole handful of Old Republic factions! It will be a unique experience and allow people to become a members of the Old Republic like so many Star Wars fans wish they could.
